SUMMARY:CYBERFUTURE 2026
DESCRIPTION:Held during Cybersecurity Awareness Month\, CYBERFUTURE2026 brings together senior government leaders\, cybersecurity practitioners\, critical infrastructure owners and operators\, technology innovators\, and industry partners to examine how the cyber operating environment is changing and whether our current approaches are prepared for what comes next.Cybersecurity can no longer be viewed solely through the lens of networks\, endpoints\, and individual incidents. Cyber risk increasingly converges with artificial intelligence\, operational technology\, physical security\, supply chains\, critical infrastructure\, geopolitical risk\, and mission continuity. As these risks become more interconnected\, government leaders need more than visibility into network activity. They need the ability to understand what a threat means to the mission\, what matters most\, and where to act first.A central focus of CYBERFUTURE2026 will be the evolution from the traditional Security Operations Center (SOC) toward a Risk Operations Center (ROC) moving from monitoring and responding to individual cyber events toward a more integrated understanding of risk across the enterprise and mission.Throughout the day\, leaders and practitioners from CISA\, DHS operational components\, the Department of War\, the Department of State\, the FBI\, the Intelligence Community\, state and local government\, critical infrastructure\, and industry will explore the capabilities\, technologies\, policies\, partnerships\, and operating models needed to protect the mission in this increasingly complex environment.Conversations will examine emerging and evolving challenges including AI-enabled threats and defenses\, cyber-physical convergence\, operational technology security\, critical infrastructure resilience\, supply chain risk\, threat intelligence\, identity\, data\, automation\, and mission resilience with a focus on translating innovation into operational capability.
