Description
Our critical infrastructure owners and operators understand interdependency. The challenge is determining whether the resilience, redundancy, recovery plans, partnerships, and investments built around those dependencies remain sufficient as the threat environment changes.
And none of us can solve this alone.
Critical infrastructure is largely operated by the private sector, but its resilience is inseparable from federal, state, and local government; emergency management; law enforcement; technology providers; suppliers; and other critical infrastructure sectors. When disruption crosses sectors and jurisdictions, individual continuity plans must become a collective ability to sustain the nation's essential functions.
Building on our conversations during National Preparedness Month, FITGOV DATA, and CYBERFUTURE, CIP 2026 asks a practical question:
What do government, industry, and critical infrastructure owners and operators need to build together now to keep America operating when the systems we depend upon are under stress?
