Inside the 2026 HSToday Threat Assessment

Thursday, February 26, 2026 (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) (EST)

Description

Join Homeland Security Today for our first-ever in-person Threat Assessment Panel, bringing together contributors to the HSToday 2026 Threat Assessment for a live, in-depth discussion on the evolving threat landscape shaping the year ahead. Building on the success of last year’s webinar series, this event convenes government, industry, and subject matter experts for timely, real-world dialogue and audience engagement.

The program will feature three moderated panel discussions focused on the key themes emerging from the 2026 assessment: Terrorism — threats from ISIS and its affiliates, lone actors and small cells, soft-target vulnerabilities, and the convergence of extremist movements Emerging Technology — policy frameworks for advanced air mobility, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence; unmanned aerial systems in law enforcement; identity and credential security; and the exploitation of AI by criminal organizations Systemic Risks — infrastructure security, lifeline resilience, facilities protection, foresight gaps, and the intersection of major events with evolving threat streams
