For a decade, GTSC has served the homeland security community, sharing the best partnership, intelligence, and programming in our market. Our organization is focused on the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, State, IRS, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. We are #TEAMHOMELAND. We are a bit different from other industry groups in that:
1) your membership fee covers all employees of your company
2) there are no additional fees — no pay per event prices unless you are an emerging member that signs up for that type of membership
3) non-contractors are not allowed to join
4) dues are based on revenue and we have payment plans to make it affordable for anyone
5) We do not offer “pay-as-you-go” options - we work to provide exceptional value for our members and protect the size and attendance at our events accordingly
We have evolved several models that give our members maximum exposure and contact with their current and future clients through our events and activities. GTSC days take deep dives into the components within the largest agencies to break them down into more digestible pieces.
FITGov Summit Acquisition
Most recently, GTSC acquired the FITGov Summit - the premier event for those working in IT modernization, capital planning, governance and procurement. This addition has expanded our reach and offerings for all things IT and affords an opportunity to collaborate with the Federal IT community even more closely.
COVID Pivot
SINCE COVID our focus has been on procurement updates featuring speakers from the procurement shops across DHS, State, and IRS. We are hosting webinars several times per month and are also hosting Mentor sessions for companies to meet our mentors (very large integrators). We re-imagined our “GTSC days” into more manageable pieces so folks aren’t stuck on zoom calls for 6 hours, so they are not "GTSC Weeks" and feature 1-2 sessions per day. We continue to cover all the topics and information the community needs and will continue to bring both in-person and online events to meet our member’s needs.
Our value for “outside the beltway firms” has really skyrocketed because now everyone can attend our events no matter where they are!
Homeland Security Today
In late 2017, GTSC acquired the magazine and media platform, Homeland Security Today (www.HSToday.us), the foremost publication and outlet for the homeland security community since 2004. Members receive special pricing for advertising and we have expanded our reach by over 50,000 contacts. We have increased readership from 200,000 per year to over 1 million PER MONTH In 2023. HSToday is the most meaningful place for homeland security conversations.
Additionally, since COVID, HSToday has become THE source of Information and exposure for firms interested in visibility and thought leadership in the homeland security market.
